At this moment, the manor was filled with the clinking of glasses and joyous celebration. Many generals were laughing heartily, unable to contain their delight. Su Muhe and Meng Feixue also wore radiant smiles. The manor was now truly brimming with talent, having undergone a remarkable transformation under the command of Prince Fei, flourishing even more than before.

Yet, both women understood that this victory had not come easily. Had it not been for Prince Fei’s leadership in the manor and his defeat of the enemy, the current prosperity would have been impossible.

With this in mind, they both raised a toast in respect to Jiang Xiaofei.

Seated at the main seat, Jiang Xiaofei met their gaze and raised his cup in return, draining it in one go.

"Refreshing," he hummed contentedly as the wine touched his lips.

Seeing this, Jun Yao smiled and raised her glass in celebration as well.

Thus, the victory banquet continued until midnight, after which everyone, pleasantly intoxicated, returned to their rooms.

However, on the way back to her chambers, Jun Yao’s expression grew troubled.

Noticing this, Jiang Xiaofei furrowed his brow and asked, “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?”

“No,” Jun Yao replied, shaking her head after opening the door. “It’s just… you killed Lord Wuji. I fear things won’t be so simple.”

Jiang Xiaofei had considered this himself, but if he hadn’t killed Lord Wuji, trouble would still have come. It was better to eliminate a powerful adversary first.

He smiled and reassured her, “Don’t worry. If they dare to come, I’ll kill them. Even if I have to fight to the death, I won’t let them harm you.”

Though touched by his words, Jun Yao shook her head, “But the forces of the Netherworld are vast. They are not something we can easily oppose.”

Jiang Xiaofei chuckled, “Enough ‘buts.’ Let’s finish what we have to do. We’ll talk about the rest tomorrow.”

“Lord Fei, are you in?” Suddenly, a voice from outside called. It was Su Muhe.

Jiang Xiaofei’s mood instantly soured. “Let them in.”

Su Muhe entered and said, “Old Man Feng is here to see you.”

“Where?” Jiang Xiaofei’s heart leapt with joy, and his earlier enthusiasm vanished completely.

“He’s waiting in the main hall.”

“Alright, I’ll get dressed and see him immediately.” Jiang Xiaofei nodded, threw back the covers, and stood up, revealing his completely naked body in one swift motion.

Su Muhe blushed deeply at the sight and hurried away, though she couldn’t help stealing one more glance—indeed, it was impressive.

Seeing Su Muhe flush and flee, Jun Yao threw back the covers with a sigh. “Who told you to be so impatient? Now you’ve been seen naked.”

Jiang Xiaofei scratched his head awkwardly. “She just came in without warning—didn’t even give me a moment to prepare.”

Meanwhile, in the main hall sat an elderly man with graying hair. He leisurely hummed a tune, enjoying the tea and pastries presented by Meng Feixue, appearing somewhat eccentric.

Though this Old Man Feng seemed eccentric, Meng Feixue knew he was a genuine half-step divine cultivator, one who had once defeated the King of the Underworld. Such a figure demanded careful attention.

After finishing the tea, Old Man Feng smiled contentedly. “Young lady, you’re beautiful and speak so sweetly. I quite like it here. Why don’t you become my woman?”

Meng Feixue was alarmed and quickly declined, “Thank you for your kindness, sir, but I fear I am not worthy.”

“You’re not unworthy, you simply look down on me,” Old Man Feng sighed. “In my youth, I was a dashing and handsome man, but time spares no one. I’ve grown old and useless. Still, I won’t force you. If you just pour me some tea now and then, I’ll be satisfied.”

Touched by his melancholy, Meng Feixue replied, “If you don’t mind, I would be glad to serve you tea every day.”

“That settles it,” Old Man Feng said joyfully.

Meng Feixue then noticed his tattered clothes. “Your clothes are torn. Let me mend them for you.”

Old Man Feng was moved to tears. “You… you remind me so much of someone!”

Meng Feixue frowned slightly. “Do I remind you of someone?”

“Better not to mention it,” he said, reluctant to speak further.

An awkward silence fell between them.

Sensing the odd atmosphere, Old Man Feng asked, “By the way, where is Prince Fei? Could you urge him to come see me?”

“No need. The prince is here.” Just then, a clear laugh rang out as Jiang Xiaofei and Jun Yao entered.

Upon seeing them, Meng Feixue stepped aside respectfully.

Jiang Xiaofei nodded slightly and sat down, looking at Old Man Feng. “Speak. Why do you come to the manor so late at night to see me?”

Old Man Feng said bluntly, “You killed Lord Wuji. I’m here to aid you. Otherwise, do you think you could stand against the Netherworld with your strength alone?”

“That’s wonderful!” Jiang Xiaofei’s heart leapt with joy. He exchanged glances with Jun Yao; in their eyes shone the same happiness. Having a half-step divine cultivator join the manor and guard the Ghost Abyss gave them newfound confidence against the Netherworld.

Old Man Feng smiled, “However, I do have one condition.”

“What condition?” Jiang Xiaofei asked, frowning.

“I want Meng Feixue to be my personal attendant. Otherwise, there’s nothing to discuss.”

Jiang Xiaofei’s brows knit tighter. “That’s acceptable, but only if Meng Feixue agrees.”

He turned his gaze toward Meng Feixue.

Seeing this, Meng Feixue quickly said, “I agree.”

Jiang Xiaofei found this a bit strange but said no more, smiling instead. “Very well. From now on, you will take care of Old Man Feng’s daily needs. And Old Man Feng will be a guest elder of our manor—he must be treated with respect.”

He added apologetically, “Since you arrived so late, we weren’t able to properly welcome you. Please forgive us. Tomorrow, I will hold a ceremony to announce your arrival to the entire city.”

Old Man Feng laughed. “Prince Fei, you are too polite. Besides, we already had an appointment. And with little Meng here by my side, I am content.”

“Oh!” Jiang Xiaofei frowned, growing more curious. He looked meaningfully at Meng Feixue. “Little Meng, you must serve Old Man Feng well. Maybe give him a full-body massage.”

Being called “Little Meng” by Jiang Xiaofei, Meng Feixue said nothing, but her ears flushed crimson.

“Well then, I won’t disturb you anymore.” Jiang Xiaofei laughed heartily, stood up, and left with Jun Yao.

After they left, Meng Feixue and Old Man Feng became intimate, speaking of their feelings as if they were old friends reunited after decades.

When Old Man Feng spoke of men, Meng Feixue’s delicate body trembled. Having cultivated alone for thousands of years, she had no experience with matters of the heart, and his words stirred something deep within her.

Though she knew she shouldn’t, Old Man Feng’s hands ensnared her completely, especially after he transformed into a charming and elegant man, awakening her craving for gentleness.

And so, the two soon gave themselves over to passion atop the table.

Outside, Jiang Xiaofei watched the scene in the hall with disbelief. Though he had long suspected a secret between them, the relationship had progressed far too quickly.

Jun Yao blushed and said softly, “Husband, shall we go back and be together as well?”

“Good idea!” Jiang Xiaofei nodded, dispersing the vision before them.
