Chapter 103: Kid, Your Tastes Are Even More Extreme Than Mine

Cats have long been regarded as mystical creatures! Compared to dogs, cattle, horses, and other animals closely connected to humans, cats stand out as truly unique. This is not only due to their lazy and aloof nature but also because of their innate spiritual aura and yin energy. Across many cultures worldwide, folklore depicts cats as beings that traverse the realms of the living and the dead. Cats are highly sensitive to yin energy and spiritual forces and themselves carry a strong aura of supernatural power. For instance, when dogs encounter unclean, malevolent spirits at night, they can only bark loudly to scare them away, causing no real harm. Cats, however, are different; a single swipe of their paw can injure or even annihilate such evil entities. Yet, due to their naturally indifferent temperament, cats often won’t bother to engage with these spirits, no matter how many drift around them.
Cats are spiritual beings, walking the boundary between the living world and the afterlife! Because of this, both dogs and cats are animals prone to evolving into demons. Dogs, due to their intelligence and close human bonds; cats, purely due to their innate gifts. Among countless cat breeds, nine stand out as extraordinarily rare and wondrous—known as the Nine Spirit Cats, each possessing remarkable powers.
The Money God Cat brings wealth to its owner’s household.
The Black-Footed Fate Cat can predict disasters, helping its owner avoid misfortune.
The Water-Pot Cat, round and adorably simple-minded, can dive underwater for extended periods and move more skillfully in water than fish.
The Giant Spirit Tiger King Cat can grow over five feet long and nearly two feet tall—practically a tiger in size!
The Six-Winged Feather Cat has six tiny wings hidden beneath thick fur on its back, granting it brief flight capabilities, even carrying a light person.
In short, these nine spirit cats are truly miraculous. They are treasured not only in the supernatural realm but also among the learned and noble who understand such mysteries.
Fuyang listened in awe, marveling at the boundless wonders of the world.
“But Ah Huang, didn’t you say there are nine spirit cats? You’ve only told me about five. What about the other four?”
Ah Huang rolled his eyes. “Are you the ‘Hundred Thousand Whys’? So many questions…”
Master Xiong leaned over with a sly grin, winking. “Well, it’s obvious, right? Huang only knows five. No idea what the other four are.”
Fuyang looked down at the fat cat rubbing itself against his pant leg, then kicked it aside.
“Meow!”

Master Xiong was flung into the nearby grass, cursing loudly, “Fuyang, damn you! These are just Uniqlo pants—what’s wrong with wiping my fur on them?”
“So, this guy must be the plump and round Water-Pot Cat that can breathe underwater?” Fuyang turned to Ah Huang and asked.
“That’s right! But the records don’t mention this spirit cat can speak human language or be so shameless. Maybe it’s a natural mutant?”
“Mutant my foot! Master Xiong here isn’t an ordinary spirit cat—I’m a demon immortal! Demon immortal, you hear? Back on a full moon night, I single-handedly fought the Maoshan sect, the Dragon and Tiger…”
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Three consecutive slaps landed on the round head of the cat.
“Stop bragging! Keep going. Look at you, all puffed up. Why don’t you just fly to the heavens? Need me to buy you some fireworks to shoot you up there? You say you fought the three great Taoist masters? I alone could toy with you like a plaything. Sounds more powerful than those masters, huh?”
“Fuyang, you little brat…”
Master Xiong tried to argue but was instantly lifted up by Fuyang, who pinched the soft flesh on his belly, making him yowl in pain.
“What use is the Water-Pot Cat?”
“Well… generally none. It’s just very expensive and can be kept as a pet by super-rich people.”
“But with such a sleazy attitude, it might be hard to sell, huh?”
“Forget it, I’ll just keep it myself…”
Fuyang and Ah Huang discussed as they walked back, while Master Xiong shouted and protested loudly, insisting they were supposed to serve him, not keep him as a pet.
The next morning, Ah Huang called the wealthy elderly couple to inform them they could return home. The entire villa was a mess—actually caused deliberately by the two and the cat through their eating, drinking, and playing—and there were signs of many fights.
The old man cautiously asked, “Master Huang, what about that evil spirit…”
“Don’t worry, sir. It has been successfully dealt with! Last night, my assistant and I fought that demon for five hundred rounds to finally slay it. From now on, your home will be safe. I’ll also give you a free protective talisman!”
Ah Huang produced a freshly drawn talisman and handed it to the couple.
It was a simple “warding talisman” that even Fuyang could draw. Placed above the front door, it keeps out roaming ghosts and malevolent spirits, quite effective for ordinary people.

The elderly couple was deeply grateful and immediately paid the full fee of 100,000 yuan, even sending a luxury car to take the two back.
At Ah Huang’s newly rented office, he gave Fuyang 50,000 yuan and asked if he wanted to go out and have some fun.
“No, I’ll just go home. Vicky’s still upset, so I’ll behave,” Fuyang shook his head. Meanwhile, Master Xiong grew excited, jumping onto the desk, raising a furry paw, and shouting,
“I! I want to party! Huang, take me out! Nightclubs, hot girls with great figures—Grandpa Xiong loves that!”
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Fuyang gave the cat another triple slap on the head, then hugged and squeezed him hard before preparing to leave.
“Ah Huang, I’m heading home first. I’ll rest today; tomorrow I start working at Mr. Tang’s company.”
“Tsk tsk, you said you’d behave, but that’s bullshit! Tang Li’s supposed to be a cold, stunning beauty…”
Master Xiong was initially reluctant; he wanted to follow the wild and carefree Ah Huang, not the still somewhat virtuous Fuyang. But upon hearing there’s a cold beauty at the company, he immediately fell silent, green flames flickering in his cat eyes: “Fuyang, Grandpa wants to play with that cold beauty!”
Smack! Smack! Smack!
Fuyang’s trademark triple slaps answered the fat cat, who grimaced and covered his head.
Returning to the rented apartment, Vicky was not there. Perhaps it was psychological, but Fuyang felt the once warm home was now empty, desolate, and strangely painful.
“Looks like I’ve really gotten used to having Vicky around. That queen has quite the temper. I didn’t even do anything with Tang Li—just showed off a little in front of Ah Huang, you know, men being men… Who knew she’d answer the call? Who knew she’d worry about me all night?” Fuyang silently complained.
Master Xiong entered, sniffed around the sofa piled with women’s clothes and makeup, then inhaled deeply before howling wildly:
“Ghost King!!! I smell the presence of a Ghost King level being. Fuyang, you damn fool, are you living with a Ghost King? Oh my god!!! You’re a model for us all, a lustful hungry ghost! Your taste is worse than mine!”
