Chapter 104: The Holy Son of the Primordial
Although Shen Qianxue had left the Jiang family and arrived at Wild Desolation City, a number of Jiang family disciples still followed her. Though their cultivation had yielded no results, they were born into the Jiang clan, and naturally, some formidable retainers were assigned to protect them, albeit hidden in the shadows.
Tears fell instantly from Shen Qianxue’s eyes as she sobbed, “Little sister comes from the Supreme Mystery Dao Sect, one of the nine provinces of Eastern Wilderness, but because of my beauty, I was abducted by the Jiang family. They want me to marry one of their disciples. If that were all, I could endure it, but the key is they want me to marry more than a dozen of their sons at once.”
“Brother Lin, I am not a courtesan, sob sob sob.”
“Outrageous!” Lin Zhantian was instantly consumed with fury.
“I’ve long heard that the imperial Jiang clan is corrupt, but I never imagined they would do such a thing—kidnapping women, forcing the innocent into disgrace. If I, Lin Zhantian, had not encountered this, I might have let it pass, but now that I have, I will see justice done for Miss Qianxue.”
At this moment, Lin Zhantian seemed a saint.
But just then, the Jiang family members noticed the commotion and hurried over.
Shen Qianxue immediately hid behind Lin Zhantian, her face full of fear, pleading, “Brother Lin, they’re here. Please, don’t hand me over to them.”
Lin Zhantian nodded firmly. “Don’t worry. With me here, no one can harm you.”
He stepped forward. A powerful aura erupted. Facing the Jiang family disciples, he shouted, “So this is the imperial Jiang clan—doing such filthy deeds and still daring to show yourselves? Today, I, Lin Zhantian, will teach you a lesson.”
These Jiang clan members were no more than Foundation Establishment cultivators.
Lin Zhantian, the Holy Son of the Primordial Sanctuary, had long since reached the Integration stage. Dealing with them was as effortless as crushing an ant.
With a wave of his hand, the Jiang disciples were sent flying like insects, crashing violently to the ground.
For a moment, they were stunned.
But soon, overwhelming rage replaced their shock, and through gritted teeth, they demanded, “Who are you? Why did you attack us? Do you know who we are?”
Lin Zhantian sneered, “A bunch of worthless heirs from the imperial Jiang clan. Unable to cultivate, you’re reduced to mere vessels to continue the bloodline—nothing but trash. But that doesn’t entitle you to seize innocent women. I, Lin Zhantian, would have let this pass, but now that I’ve encountered it, you’ll never harm Miss Qianxue.”
The Jiang disciples were bewildered.
“This senior, what do you mean by harming Miss Qianxue? How could we ever harm her? She is likely to become our wife in the future.”
“Yes, perhaps there’s some misunderstanding here.”
“We treasure her like a precious jewel.”
Although Lin Zhantian was influenced by Shen Qianxue’s Sacred Beauty Physique, his cultivation far surpassed hers, and he retained his own judgment. He did not fully trust her words.
Yet the words of the Jiang disciples only convinced him further.
Murderous intent surged.
He barked, “Silence! You’re at death’s door and still dare to argue. Do you think you can fool me, Lin Zhantian?”
“The imperial Jiang clan—you are indeed filthy. With me here, none of you will take Miss Qianxue away, and you’ll all be punished for your deeds.”
“You want to continue the bloodline? Then you have no need for cultivation. Today, I will cripple your cultivation, and you shall never tread the path of cultivation again.”
With these words, Lin Zhantian pointed at them.
Hearing his intention to cripple their cultivation, the Jiang disciples were terrified, begging for mercy, “Senior, please don’t! We are of the imperial Jiang clan!”
Lin Zhantian cared nothing for their lineage.
Just as his finger was about to fall, a voice rang out from the void.
“Holy Son, wait.”
The void trembled, and a middle-aged man stepped out, blocking Lin Zhantian’s attack.
Lin Zhantian’s strike fell short.
Seeing their savior, the Jiang disciples were overjoyed. “Seventeenth Uncle, he wants to cripple us!”
“Silence!” he rebuked. “How dare you offend the Primordial Sanctuary?”
“What? He’s the Holy Son of the Primordial Sanctuary?” gasped the crowd.
The commotion had already drawn the attention of those participating in the Genius Battle, who cast incredulous gazes. Now the Primordial Sanctuary was confronting the imperial Jiang clan, two of the most powerful forces in Eastern Wilderness.
Should war break out, the entire Eastern Wilderness would be shaken.
Seventeenth Uncle scolded, “Hurry and apologize to the Holy Son.”
This Seventeenth Uncle was named Jiang Kai, an Integration stage cultivator. But his cultivation could not compare to Lin Zhantian’s. As the Holy Son, Lin Zhantian represented the entire Primordial Sanctuary, while Jiang Kai was insignificant.
Upon learning Lin Zhantian’s identity, the Jiang disciples turned pale and hurriedly apologized, “Holy Son, we’re sorry.”
Lin Zhantian’s voice was domineering, “Do you think a mere apology can undo the harm you’ve done to Miss Qianxue? I said I would cripple your cultivation, and my word is law. No one can change my decision.”
“Jiang Kai, do you intend to stop me?”
Jiang Kai’s expression changed dramatically. He glanced at Lin Zhantian and the Jiang disciples, then silently stepped back.
The Jiang disciples, faces deathly pale, pleaded, “Seventeenth Uncle, save us!”
Jiang Kai opened his mouth, but ultimately remained silent.
A group destined only to continue the clan’s bloodline, with no hope of cultivation—crippling them wasn’t the same as killing them. To offend the Holy Son of the Primordial Sanctuary for their sake was not worth it.
Screams rang out as Lin Zhantian destroyed their cultivation. One by one, they collapsed like piles of rotten flesh, blood spilling from their mouths, faces ashen.
Lin Zhantian asked, “Miss Qianxue, I have punished them for you. You are free now. However, the Jiang clan is filthy to the core. I fear they will not give up even knowing you’ve escaped their grasp and might still seek to harm you. Why not follow me back to the Primordial Sanctuary? Since you possess the Sacred Physique, I believe you can join us and become a disciple. With my sanctuary behind you, the Jiang clan would not dare touch you.”
Having been taught a lesson by the Jiang family, Shen Qianxue would not agree to Lin Zhantian’s proposal.
Previously, Jiang Yan had promised that joining the Jiang clan would benefit her future husband, but in the end, their true intent was to turn her into a breeding tool.
She shook her head hurriedly. “Brother Lin, thank you for your kindness, but I still miss my husband.”
“What? You already have a husband?” Lin Zhantian’s face changed instantly, his tone growing cold and murderous. “Who is your husband? I want to see who is worthy of you.”
