Father Jing and Mother Jing happily took the teacups and took a sip. Then, both of them reached into their respective bags and pulled out an item.

"This is a record of some combat cases I've compiled and collected. I hope it will be useful to you!" Father Jing said to Gao Shen, handing him a thick book.

A subtle gleam of delight flickered in Gao Shen's eyes. He took the book with utmost care and said, "Thank you, Dad. I will definitely study it carefully!"

"Xiaoshen, take good care of this!" Mother Jing handed over a small porcelain jar.

Gao Shen received it with both hands. Looking at the jar, which was about the size of a fist, his eyes carried a hint of confusion. Qingxin had taken out similar small porcelain jars before; could this also be some kind of medicinal pill? He would accept it for now and ask his wife in private later!

"Yuanyuan, you have plenty of good things over there, and your mom and dad don't have anything particularly good left to give you, so we prepared this welcome gift for Gao Shen instead," Mother Jing smiled as she spoke. The good things she possessed had long been divided and given to her two children for them to keep and manage themselves.

Jing Qingxin nodded and said, "Alright, thank you, Brother! During this time, I'll still find time to come back and visit you all!"
