“There’s no need for that. I’m a practitioner of traditional medicine—pulse diagnosis is enough. I can simply feel the pulse on your left wrist. In fact, I can already tell from your complexion that you’re not ill.”

To his surprise, Lin Yuan answered her with utter seriousness.

Xiao Daier was a little taken aback, but she didn’t feel awkward. With a soft laugh, she replied,

“No, actually, I am ill. It’s already become a serious problem in my life.”

As she spoke, her gaze dimmed, and she gave a self-deprecating smile.

Suddenly, she slammed on the brakes.

Just as Lin Yuan was about to ask what was happening, she abruptly reclined her seat flat and, with a playful smile, said,

“Lin Yuan, lift your feet for a moment.”

Lin Yuan complied.

She then flattened the passenger seat as well.

Now, with the front seats connected to the back, the interior of the car formed a makeshift bed.

“What are you doing?” Lin Yuan asked.

“Big sister is having an attack.”

Her voice was coy and sultry, her gaze brimming with allure as she threw herself into his arms.

She was fervent, her fragrant, supple figure pressing into him, her arms winding around his neck as she offered him a kiss.

Lin Yuan was a little dazed—what was going on? Had he just received a beauty’s kiss out of nowhere?

Xiao Daier was bold and passionate, her breath quick and sweet as she let out a coquettish hum.

Lin Yuan responded by wrapping his arms around her, losing himself in the moment.

But just as he was about to take things further, she suddenly sobered, pushing him away with force.

Her cheeks were flushed with crimson, her eyes glistening with desire.

“I’m sorry, Lin Yuan. You can kiss me, you can touch me anywhere, but that place isn’t yours. I really am sorry.”

Lin Yuan felt a twinge of disappointment. “I understand. Is it because of your boyfriend?”

She shook her head gently. “Yes, and no.”

Lin Yuan was intrigued—what did that mean?

But clearly, she didn’t want to elaborate.

A shadow crossed her expression, and she forced a smile. “When the symbol of my purity is taken from me, then I’ll be with you.”

Lin Yuan was stunned.

She pressed her legs together, biting her lip as if struggling with intense discomfort.

“What’s wrong?” Lin Yuan asked in alarm.

“It’s happening again—I really am having an attack.” She shook her head wildly, as if consumed by flames, and right there in front of Lin Yuan, she took matters into her own hands.

Lin Yuan was utterly dumbfounded.

About ten minutes later, she collapsed, weak and gasping, a tear glistening at the corner of her eye, her voice hoarse.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, Lin Yuan.”

Lin Yuan seized her delicate wrist and felt her pulse.

He frowned. “That’s strange. Your body is perfectly healthy—how can this be?”

A sorrowful look flitted through her beautiful eyes.

“Do you think I’m just feigning illness or trying to seduce you?”

“Not at all,” Lin Yuan replied, shaking his head. “But you don’t show signs of yin deficiency. By rights, you shouldn’t be experiencing such overwhelming urges.”

Xiao Daier fell into a reverie. “That’s what many doctors have said, but none have cured me.”

After a moment, Lin Yuan said, “I think it must be acquired, not congenital.”

She nodded. “The Western doctors say it’s sciatica-induced hypersexuality syndrome. Any slight stimulus, and I go out of control…”

“I still remember, in my sophomore year, I was performing at a party, and the urge hit me—I could barely endure the pain!”

“I remember, at the freshman ceremony, as the outstanding student representative delivering a speech on stage, I nearly lost control right in front of all the juniors!”

“I remember, at a family wake, everyone was weeping, but I hid in the restroom to take care of myself…”

“This feeling has tormented me for years…”

She curled up on her side, recounting her story in a daze, her beautiful eyes dull and lifeless.

She wore nothing but a tiny camisole.

Her upper body was completely bare.

Yet she had no qualms, letting Lin Yuan look as he pleased.

“Did you come to me hoping I could cure you?” Lin Yuan asked calmly.

Xiao Daier composed herself, then smiled radiantly.

“So, will you help me, Lin Yuan?”

“I can’t say for sure—I’m not confident,” Lin Yuan admitted. He wasn’t convinced by the Western diagnosis. He had a feeling this wasn’t a sciatic nerve problem, so he didn’t want to make any rash claims.

“Alright, I wouldn’t want to make things difficult for you. Actually, I sought you out to tell you something important.”

Then she noticed Lin Yuan was still suffering.

With a soft laugh, she said, “I almost forgot—after watching all this, you must be feeling something too. Don’t worry, big sister will take care of you.”

A long while later.

Xiao Daier took a sip of mineral water, pursed her lips to ease her fatigue, and said,

“Lin Yuan, you must have very healthy habits. Good for you—keep it up. Big sister will be visiting often.”

“Um… what was the important news you wanted to tell me?” Lin Yuan cleared his throat and asked.

Her smile faded, and she said gravely,

“The Shadow Kill Organization has abandoned their attempt on your life. The person behind the scenes has raised the bounty, and now the Assassin League has taken the contract. The diamond-ranked assassin, code name Zero, is headed to Bin Hai as we speak.”

She finished with a dazzling smile. “You’d better be careful, Lin Yuan. Don’t get yourself killed—otherwise, where would I go in the future?”

Lin Yuan was somewhat surprised.

“Zero? That’s quite a name. The Assassin League… I didn’t expect it to be them.”

Seeing his utter lack of panic, Xiao Daier’s satisfaction grew, her smile widening.

“Lin Yuan, why don’t you come home with me tonight? Stay in my room—we can have some real fun together.”

“Daier, just tell me what you want. Don’t keep tempting me in circles.”

Lin Yuan knew she must have another reason.

“My little brother is so clever. After all I’ve just done for you, now I need your help. My father suffered internal injuries from martial training years ago. Would you take a look at him?”

She blinked her lovely eyes and smiled.

Lin Yuan understood.

Everything she’d just done was to pave the way for this request.

But given all that had just happened, it would be ungrateful to refuse.

In that moment, Lin Yuan truly realized how formidable this enchantress was.

“Alright,” he nodded.

“Thank you, little brother. If you cure him, I’ll only come to you in the future.”

She planted a happy kiss on his cheek, picked up her clothes, and began to dress, wiping away any traces left on the seat.

Lin Yuan raised an eyebrow. “So you’ve visited others before?”

She had anticipated this question, and with a charming smile, she replied,

“When you truly enter my life, you’ll know the answer.”

With that, she started the car and sped off toward her home.

She lowered her gaze, apologizing silently in her heart:

“Forgive me, Lin Yuan. My fate is not my own to command—don’t blame me for not fulfilling your beautiful fantasies.”

She hadn’t told him the truth, afraid he’d misunderstand, afraid that if he thought her wanton, he might never desire her again…
