The environment shifted, and the sensation of solid ground returned. Xu Wang discovered that his surroundings had changed completely. He was no longer on the peak of West Water Mountain in the wasteland; instead, he stood on the side of a typical American suburban road.

A line of shimmering text refreshed, appearing before Xu Wang’s eyes. He had seen this same prompt back in the world of *The Amazing Spider-Man*. If he confirmed, he could summon Iron Pillar over. However, Xu Wang chose "No." He still needed Iron Pillar to keep an eye on the raiders back in the wasteland. That guy was his personal source for farming attribute points; he couldn't afford to waste him.

Based on his two previous experimental deaths, Xu Wang had formed a rough hypothesis regarding the criteria for death rewards. Although the text claimed that suicide would not grant a reward, the definition of "suicide" was clearly broad and not strictly enforced. Otherwise, given how Xu Wang had subjectively sought death and eventually perished at the hands of the Lizard and the raiders, those could easily have been classified as suicides. Yet, he had still received his rewards.

In other words, regardless of whether he intended to die, as long as it objectively appeared that he did not kill himself, he would be rewarded. If this were true, the room for him to maneuver was vast. This was absolutely excellent news.

As the text faded, Xu Wang turned his attention back to his current environment. He had seen *Key & Peele*. It was an incredibly clever comedy sketch show, with each episode featuring different content that parodied various social elements in an all-encompassing way.

The world Xu Wang was currently in was the setting of one specific sketch, which centered on a zombie apocalypse. These sketches were typically short, lasting only a few minutes, so there was naturally no complex plot development. The premise of this episode was quite simple: a zombie crisis breaks out. The protagonists, Andre and Meegan, believe they are about to face a thrilling apocalyptic adventure. They never expected, however, that these white zombies—even after losing their consciousness—would still harbor a deep-seated, bone-deep discrimination and disdain for Black people. The protagonists assumed they would be attacked, but the zombies didn't even want to touch them, actively avoiding them whenever they appeared.

The entire short film was a masterclass in dark humor. Although this was merely the world of a comedy sketch, for Xu Wang, it was a genuine zombie apocalypse. Since it was a zombie apocalypse, finding a way to die should be quite simple. This was exactly the kind of world Xu Wang loved most.

"Okay, listen! The police station is nearby; we’ll be safe," a voice called out.

Just then, three men—one white and two Black—emerged from behind a house across the street. The white man in the lead held a handgun, speaking with a grave expression to the two Black men behind him.

"Okay!"
"Got it!"

Meegan, who wore glasses and had a short, stout build, nodded, and the bald-headed Andre immediately agreed. The white man in the blue shirt seemed satisfied with their response. Like a protagonist in a zombie movie, he spoke with righteous dignity: "Stick with me! I'll get you out of here!"

As he spoke, the man turned around and immediately let out a sharp, sudden scream. He had been blindsided by two zombies that lunged at him from out of nowhere!

"Aaaah! Help! Help!"

The man in the blue shirt screamed frantically for aid, but the zombies ignored his pleas. They bit directly into his throat, tearing away a massive chunk of flesh. Suffering such an assault, the man twitched violently for a moment before succumbing to death.

"Wow! Such a quick death!" Xu Wang, watching from the sidelines, felt his mouth watering with envy. This kind of instantaneous departure was exactly what he was chasing! After dying several times, he had thought himself an expert in the craft. He hadn't expected to encounter such a high-level performer so soon after arriving in his second world. Truly, there is always someone better!

"Let go of that man! Come at me instead!" Xu Wang couldn't wait. He zipped down his uniform, exposing his bare chest, and charged toward the two zombies while shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Hey, hey, hey!"

Andre and Meegan were just about to run when they saw an Asian man suddenly charge out from nowhere, rushing toward the zombies as if he had a death wish. Both men were terrified! Andre instinctively tried to grab Xu Wang, but he missed. They watched in horror as Xu Wang reached the zombies, fully expecting the death toll to rise by one.

To their surprise, the two zombies looked at Xu Wang with expressions of pure disgust. They even stopped eating the man in the blue shirt, stood up with blood-smeared mouths, and retreated a few steps. The scene turned awkward. After three seconds, Xu Wang finally realized what was happening and cursed, "What the hell! I’m being discriminated against too!"

[Page 3/3]

This was truly dark humor. Xu Wang had just been laughing at the Black brothers for being discriminated against by white zombies, only to realize that those old white guys didn't just discriminate against Black people—as an Asian, he was also on the list. In the eyes of certain white supremacists, white people were meant to occupy the highest status in every field worldwide.

Xu Wang refused to give up and waved his hands in front of the two zombies, but they recoiled with clear disdain.

"Damn it! This is so frustrating!" Xu Wang was genuinely annoyed. He swung his hands and slapped both zombies, knocking them to the ground.

"Hey, man! Do you want to escape with us?"

Andre and Meegan were astonished to see that Xu Wang hadn't been attacked. After exchanging a few words, they came over to invite him to join their group. Xu Wang hadn't expected his plan to fail so miserably. As an Asian, he wasn't favored by these white zombies either. His dream of a swift death had been dashed, so he had to find another way.

"Fine, let's go together."

Xu Wang decided to follow the two protagonists for a while. The makeshift trio fled down the street. When they passed an intersection, the Black brothers in the lead stopped, pulling Xu Wang behind a black SUV.

"Oh my god! The front is full of zombies!" the bald-headed Andre cried out in extreme terror.

"Hey! Calm down! Just calm down, okay? Don't worry! We'll definitely find the police station! We'll be safe!" Meegan grabbed Andre’s shoulders, looking at him with firm resolve, trying to settle him down.

"Okay! Okay! I got it!"

It was effective; Andre did indeed calm down as requested. The two of them clearly hadn't realized that even in the middle of an apocalypse, they were still in a position of being discriminated against. Watching from the side, Xu Wang couldn't bear to shatter their delusions.

"Hey! Listen, we have to push through them. We have to stick together. Keep moving forward, and whatever you do, don't get bitten!"

Meegan and Andre steeled their nerves. As they stood up from behind the black SUV and stared at the dense crowd of wandering zombies on the road ahead, their expressions were deadly serious.

Xu Wang’s expression was just as grave. Watching the few figures of police officers among the horde, a potentially viable death plan was already forming in his mind.
