Volume One, Chapter 16: Can You Believe It? I Shared a Hotel Room with Eight Men

Fu Hanzhou’s face darkened, but he didn’t respond. Instead, he went downstairs, poured himself a glass of wine, and gulped it down fiercely.
At that moment, he opened my social media moments, and his expression changed drastically!
The wine glass beside him crashed to the floor with a loud bang!
I gasped sharply.
Looking up, I was stunned, my eyes wide with disbelief!
My social media moments were flooded with videos—all showing alluring silhouettes in a dazzling, neon-lit bar. Under the blurred lights, the woman at center stage was toasting and laughing, embraced on both sides, smiling brightly; after getting drunk, she went to a hotel room with eight men!
Shock overwhelmed me.
Who was this?
Who was impersonating me? And deliberately posting such blurry photos—it was done on purpose!
A calculated act to tarnish my purity!
Fu Hanzhou’s face grew even darker; he gritted his teeth and said through clenched jaws, “Tang Xing, how dare you cheat on me behind my back!”
In his fury, he smashed the wine bottle!
The whole Su family was awakened by the commotion.
Su Rong and Tang Feng hurried downstairs, wrapped in their clothes.
“Hanzhou, what’s going on?” Su Rong asked as she approached.
Fu Hanzhou took a deep drag from his cigarette, exhaling smoke before coldly tossing his phone to Su Rong. “See for yourself,” he said icily.
Su Rong and Tang Feng looked at the phone, puzzled at first, but after watching the entire video, their faces turned grim.
Su Rong’s cheeks flushed red as she exclaimed, “That worthless woman is cheating outside! Isn’t this adultery? And that wretched girl actually posted it online! How outrageous!”
“Hanzhou, don’t be angry. Since Tang Xing is committing adultery, we will make her come crawling back, begging for mercy, and she’ll leave empty-handed!”
I was utterly shocked.
“Dad! Mom! That’s not me!” I pleaded desperately, but they wouldn’t listen.
Su Rong even stepped forward to discuss with Fu Hanzhou, “This whole matter is our Su family’s failing. Once you divorce Tang Xing, I’ll immediately arrange for Wanyue to marry you! She needs someone to care for her delicate health. Let her serve Wanyue tea and attend to her!”
I sneered bitterly. I had thought Su Rong had at least a shred of motherly affection for me, but I had been foolish.
From beginning to end,
Su Rong never cared about me, her own daughter. The only one she favored was Su Wanyue. She wanted Fu Hanzhou to divorce me and marry Su Wanyue, and she wanted me to leave without a penny, accusing me of infidelity without evidence! She even expected me to serve Su Wanyue after the divorce!
I was furious!
But there was nothing I could do.
Su Wanyue, her clothes disheveled, came downstairs clutching her phone, looking astonished.

“Godmother, Sister Tang Xing cheated!” she blurted.
Everyone turned to look at her, exchanging weary glances and sighs.
Fu Hanzhou frowned. “You saw it too?”
Su Wanyue nodded. “Tang Xing just sent me the video privately. I didn’t expect her to brag about those men’s skills!”
Fu Hanzhou’s face immediately darkened.
I knew at that moment he was truly angry.
After all, no man could tolerate having his prowess doubted.
Mrs. Su, noticing the tension between Su Wanyue and Fu Hanzhou, who seemed to share a certain intimacy, pulled him aside. “Quickly bring that worthless woman back. You and Wanyue should marry soon!”
Fu Hanzhou agreed.
A wave of sorrow washed over me.
Suddenly, footsteps sounded on the stairs.
I smiled in surprise—it was the clan matriarch!
The matriarch’s cold gaze swept over the group, and she sneered, “What are you all talking about?”
My spirit immediately floated over, shooting a piercing glare at Su Wanyue and the others.
Su Rong and Tang Feng trembled.
Su Wanyue looked flustered. “We weren’t talking about Tang Xing cheating. Oh! Sorry, I must have misspoken!”
She feigned innocence like a delicate flower, eyes wide with shock, covering her mouth.
Everyone around sighed helplessly—not blaming her for provoking the matriarch, but feeling sorry for her naivety.
Favoritism is truly irrational!
As expected, upon hearing the accusation against me, the matriarch’s face grew stern.
“Impossible. Xing’er is the one I raised. I know her character better than anyone. Don’t slander her in front of me!”
She sneered coldly at them.
Her sharp eyes then fixed on Su Wanyue. “You explain.”
Su Wanyue, clearly frightened by the matriarch’s gaze, hid behind Fu Hanzhou and looked at him with a pained expression.
Fu Hanzhou’s heart stirred; he patted her hand, but the images of the videos replayed in his mind, darkening his face.
“Grandmother, the evidence is clear. Someone filmed Tang Xing carousing with men at a hotel in Sanya!”
The matriarch frowned, not angry but seriously shaking her head. “Impossible. You are her husband. Don’t you know her true nature?”
Her words silenced Fu Hanzhou.
Indeed, Tang Xing had been devoted to him. But after Wanyue appeared, she changed—jealous, self-harming, desperate for favor.

In the end, he blamed me.
“People change. Grandmother, Tang Xing’s actions are deeply disappointing. I hope you’re not blinded by favoritism!”
Nearby, Su Wanyue spoke softly, “Sister Tang Xing has fallen so low, but we don’t blame her. Just as long as she doesn’t sully the reputation of the Fu family’s daughter-in-law.”
Su Rong hugged Su Wanyue, moved. “Wanyue, you’re so kind. Tang Xing is not even worth a single strand of your hair!”
My eyes burned with unshed tears, wanting to cry but unable to shed a single tear.
Standing behind the matriarch, watching all this, listening to Su Rong’s scorn about my evil character and cruel heart, I was clearly her daughter, yet she spat on me!
My heart filled with desolation.
“Hmph! I always wondered why Xing’er ran away and wouldn’t come home. It must be because you all forced her! Maybe there’s more to this story. When she returns, we’ll get to the bottom of it!”
I smiled bitterly.
Grandmother, I can’t come back.
Fu Hanzhou’s face was filled with disgust. “Adultery within marriage— I propose Tang Xing leaves with nothing!”
I clenched my fists, looking at Fu Hanzhou’s sullen face, my gaze coldly shifting between him and Su Wanyue.
Hah, I laughed silently.
He and Su Wanyue were secretly seeing each other, exchanging glances and smiles!
Men are like this—flaunting their conquests outside while expecting their wives to remain pure. How absurd!
If only he used his influence to investigate, he would know I never even set foot in Sanya.
But he blindly believed every word Su Wanyue said, disregarding the truth.
The matriarch snorted coldly, irritated just by seeing Fu Hanzhou.
“A worthless man like that—I don’t even care about my Xing’er!”
Now, the matriarch only hoped for my return.
But strangely, I wouldn’t answer her calls, and she sensed something was wrong.
Su Wanyue spoke up at the right moment, “Actually, the police came last time, but it was just another prank by Sister Tang Xing!”
A prank?
The matriarch frowned deeply, her face full of worry as she looked at Su Wanyue with growing discomfort.
“If you hadn’t interfered in others’ marriages, breaking their bonds, how could she be playing pranks?”
Su Wanyue’s smile froze awkwardly on her face.
