Lin Manru was momentarily surprised. She had never expected to encounter the general manager of the Tianhao Grand Hotel at a job market.

Desperate to secure the job, Lin Manru’s voice unconsciously became urgent, and her expression revealed a pleading hope. To Zhao Jian, however, it looked like an opening.

Zhao Jian smiled lightly. “Miss Lin, we’re all wage earners. I’m not really any more noble than you are. I understand what you went through.”

His words warmed Lin Manru’s heart. He truly seemed like a reasonable and understanding man. If she could work under him, she could already imagine how pleasant the atmosphere would be.

“Actually, you have experience working as a shift supervisor. If you came to the Tianhao Grand Hotel to serve tea and water as an ordinary server, it would be a waste of your abilities.”
