Li Can considered himself a rational and composed man. Yet, everyone harbors a few forbidden zones deep within their hearts—areas that, once touched, ignite all their emotions at once. Unsurprisingly, any clue related to the “driver at fault” was one of Li Can’s forbidden zones.
“Hey, kid, what are you doing!”
After a brief lull in the room, the first to react were the portly bosses sitting opposite Zhao Gang. They glared fiercely, pounding the table as they rose to their feet. At the same time, the fiery kitchen staff erupted behind them in a noisy uproar—so loud that their words blurred into chaos.
Li Can paid them no heed, his gaze sweeping over everyone in the room. He immediately spotted the man wearing a baseball cap, seated by the wall on the left. For some reason, even in such a moment, that man had no intention of raising his head. Clearly, he was guilty and fearful!

The movement was unrehearsed, yet seamless—almost pleasing to the eye. The only flaw was that the greasy floor was slick, and Li Can nearly slipped upon landing. Fortunately, his physical prowess was now beyond ordinary; he quickly steadied himself by bracing against the wall.
